A plain-language overview of what Appear stores, why it is used, and how to request removal.
Appear may process Discord user IDs, server IDs, channel IDs, command names, timestamps, configuration values, moderation records, and feature settings needed to make the bot work.
Appear does not need your Discord password and you should never share private tokens, passwords, or recovery codes with the bot or support staff.
We use data to run commands, save server settings, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, and provide support when you ask for help.
Server-specific settings are used only to provide the features you configure, such as roles, VoiceMaster channels, automod rules, feeds, and command permissions.
Temporary command and activity metadata may be kept for a limited time for reliability, debugging, and abuse prevention.
Configuration data can remain stored until a server admin changes it, disables the feature, removes Appear, or requests deletion through support.
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only when needed to operate the service, comply with valid legal requests, investigate abuse, or protect Appear and its users.
Discord and any third-party platforms you connect to Appear have their own policies and are responsible for their own services.
You can request deletion of data associated with your account or server through the support server.
Some records may be retained when necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or to preserve the integrity of moderation actions.
Server admins can change or remove feature settings at any time using Appear commands and Discord permissions.
If Appear leaves a server, features depending on stored server configuration will stop working for that server.
